As I type this, most of those of you in the USA will have voted. Here in the UK, I’m very interested in how the election will turn out and what the result will mean for the USA and the rest of the world.
So, political change is about to happen in the US. Meanwhile, we can see the signs of seasonal change all around us. It’s amazing really to think that the beauty of autumn comes mostly from decay, the breakdown of pigments in the leaves, giving us this wonderful array of colours.
Sometimes the decay is more obvious and the beauty fading, a reminder of how fleeting life is.
There’s a definite ‘autumnal palette’ of colours, ochres, reds, browns and oranges. On the other hand, some autumnal colours are more unexpected, as in these Wood Blewits

Well our election turned out to be a very bad ending, or should I say a bad beginning for the next 4 yrs. My decision is to take care of myself and plan and do what I need to do to stay safe in health and economy. It is ugly and I am angry, but somehow we will survive.
