About Crafty Green Poet

I’ve been blogging and tweeting as Crafty Green Poet for many years now. I’ll still be in those places, but this Substack will offer a weekly newsletter expanding on some thoughts about nature and environmental issues using a creative lens. So there will be ideas on upcycling, literature and campaigns with lots of links to useful resources. Shared most Wednesdays.

I hope to make things thought-provoking and (mostly) optimistic, and to inspire you to take creative steps to reduce your own carbon footprint.

There’s enough doom and gloom in the world at the moment, especially around the twin biodiversity and climate crises, so hopefully this space can help alleviate that, to some extent.

This is a new venture and will evolve. At the moment, everything is free, but I may well introduce the option for paid subscriptions, which will allow access to additional content.
